“We stayed at the Glockenhof for 2 days in May 2022 during our summer trip to Switzerland. The hotel is very conveniently located and we could reach the hotel from the train station quite easily. The staff at the reception were very approachable and the check in and check out process was very smooth. I had booked their Family room with play area which I found only on their website. It was perfect for our family of 4. The room is basically two connecting rooms with one room for customised for kids. The rooms were perfect and the kids room was very well thought through with a triple bunk bed, tent, toys and boardgames to keep the kids engaged. The bathrooms were also very child friendly with bath toys. The breakfast experience though was so-so. They were short on staff and our eggs to order and coffee were missed and we had to remind them more than once and the spread left us wanting. But that's just nit picking in what was otherwise a very good stay in Zurich.”

“Worst service. If you’re a tourist don’t come here because your experience will be bad. The receptionists at the desk are not helpful at all. I was checked in late on my first day of arrival and is not given my right to check out as late. The water shower changes temperature from your preferred temperature to super hot suddenly and the TV did not work. Totally unfair treatment and misguidance as they promise you late check out and then they are not up to the promise. When I tried to say that it is my right to checkout as late they said rooms are full and we will only give you half an hour extra while I waited for more. When I tried to discuss this, another receptionist jumped in the conversation and tried to teach me what is my right obtain, he kept saying “this is not how it works” and didn’t know what he was saying. I thought this was a good hotel and guest satisfaction and experience are important to the hotel. but turns out that’s not really the case and it’s ok with them to take your rights. Don’t book here if you want fair treatment.”
